Miami Sunsets

I thought I would share some of my photos with you all. The top one is a panoramic shot that I took right after the sun set. Our apartment's balcony faces North, almost directly, so the sun sets there, East (on the left), where the sky is a beautiful purple.

Miami sunset. Since there isn't much else to say about the pics, I'll write about what's going on. Mark is cooking spaghetti, I am writing/uploading pics, Miles Davis' Nefertiti album is playing.

Tomorrow I'm having a girls night with some of my friends. We're going to Perricone's (a delicious restaurant) and Blue Martini (where it's ladies night). Both of these places are about 2 blocks away, so that's very convenient. I'm excited to hang out with the girls! (Not that I don't love hanging out with Mark, heheheh).

Another fat pink sun. So pretty. This spaghetti is really smellin' delicious. I feel very hungry...

On Friday I'm going to the Ritz-Carlton for a Champagne Hour and a fashion/trunk show with my friend Patty. Her dad just had a heart attack and open heart surgery, so I think she's ready to be away from a hospital. I'm looking forward to hanging out with her, too, since she isn't in my office anymore. It should be a snazzy time!

The picture above has a small streak across it. That's a plane. I left the shutter open for about 20 seconds (maybe 15) and the plane's lights made a streak. That's also why the photo is a little blurry. Not-so-steady hand.

Fun lights. I left the shutter open and tried to make waves. Silly.

And this is a storm. I was trying to catch lightning, but no luck. Maybe next time! We are in the rainy season, so I should have lots of opportunities. Please check out my site if you're bored (HelloMiami). The most recent things I've posted are Crazy Pianos (a cool dueling piano bar, scroll down and click the Bars/Nightclubs tab), Crandon Park (under attractions, a BEAUTIFUL park and beach that I just discovered), and Pieducks Pizza, a tasty restaurant right near my apartment.

I love you all, and I'll see you in a month!
